SAN LUIS OBISPO – The Cal Poly men's soccer program closes a three-game home stand, completes Big West Conference preparations and hosts San Diego for the first time as a Division I program on Saturday, Sept. 24. Kickoff from Alex G. Spanos Stadium is 5 p.m. for Cal Poly (0-7-0), which still seeks its first victory of the season after dropping a 2-1 home decision to Blue-Green rival UC Santa Barbara (Sept. 21) in front of 10,392 fans – the 25th largest regular season attendance figure in NCAA history. San Diego enters play having drawn its last three opponents and four of the previous five – including back-to-back 2-2 home deadlocks versus Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 18) and UNLV (Sept. 21). Cal Poly is San Diego's fifth Big West opponent in 10 non-conference matchups.
