Prep -- Earned back-to-back first-team All-Big 9 District accolades at Wenatchee High School ... led the Panthers to the WIAA Class 4A playoffs in 2017-18, averaging 16.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.0 steals ... also attended Wenatchee Valley (Wash.) College through an associate’s degree fast-start program ... was a finalist for the North Central Washington Sports Athlete of the Year Award ... averaged 17.1 points as a junior ... graduated owning school records for 3-pointers made in a career (161), most consecutive free throws made in a season (24), most points in a single game (36) and most 3s during a season (54) ... became program’s second-leading all-time scorer, with 1,279 points ... played AAU for Way to Win ... also played volleyball, as well as tennis for WHS ... was a Dean’s List student, in addition to participating in Youth Group.
Personal -- Daughter of Rick & Diane Hallberg, each Seattle Pacific University alumni; mom also was an NCAA basketball player, setting the Falcons’ school record for field goals made in a game (16 against Gonzaga in 1984) ... comes from an athletic family of basketball players, including sisters Danica (at Biola University) and Alexxa (Whitworth University) ... also visited SPU, Colorado Christian and Metropolitan State; chose Cal Poly because “it will give me a great education. I loved the atmosphere, the basketball coaches and the great community” ... majors in Experience Industry Management.
