SAN LUIS OBISPO – Graduate guard Chance Hunter scored a game high 18 points and senior guard Trevon Taylor added 17 as the Cal Poly men's basketball program nearly overturned a 15-point, second half deficit but, in the first all-time meeting with Mount St. Mary's, Cal Poly opened the inaugural California Thanksgiving Jam Sunday evening with a 73-68 loss inside Mott Athletics Center.
Taylor (above) also grabbed a game high 10 rebounds to complete his second collegiate double-double for Cal Poly (1-3), which trailed Mount St. Mary's (2-3), 49-34, with 10 minutes remaining.
