SAN LUIS OBISPO – The Cal Poly men's soccer program completes the 2022 regular season when hosting CSU Bakersfield at Mustang Memorial Field presented by Dignity Health for first time in 12 years and for the first time as a Big West Conference opponent, welcoming the Roadrunners on Saturday, Oct. 29. Kickoff is 7 p.m. for Cal Poly, which was eliminated from Big West Tournament contention with a 1-1 draw at conference leader UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 22). On seven points, the Mustangs trail eighth place UC Davis by four with one match remaining and only six teams eligible for the Big West Tournament. A victory Saturday helps Cal Poly solidify a double-digit point total in the Big West standings for the fifth time in seven years. Sitting bottom of the Big West table, CSU Bakersfield's lone conference point occurred through a scoreless home draw against UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 5). Having dropped five straight decisions, CSU Bakersfield has scored just three Big West goals.
