Cal Poly’s Cardinal Classic Participation Cancelled

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Due to renovation and permitting delays at Stanford Softball Stadium and potential foul weekend weather in Santa Clara County, the Cal Poly softball program’s participation in the Feb. 13-15 Cardinal Classic I was cancelled late Thursday evening.

Cal Poly was scheduled to face Stanford on Friday, Feb. 13, Kentucky on Saturday, Feb. 14 and both Oregon and Stanford on Sunday, Feb. 15.
The Mustangs next resume action with the program’s 19th annual Mustang Classic, scheduled for Feb. 19-22 at Bob Janssen Field. The complete Mustang Classic schedule is below.

Due to stadium renovation issues and potential inclement weather, Cal Poly's participation in Stanford's Cardinal Classic has been canceled. Cal Poly back in action Feb. 19-22, hosting the program's annual Mustang Classic at Bob Janssen Field.
