SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Featuring three opponents that made the NCAA Tournament last year, including one that made the Final Four, Cal Poly women’s basketball finalized its 2025-26 schedule with the announcement of its 10-game non-conference slate.
Cal Poly announced its 20-game conference schedule in August, rounding out its 30-game 2025-26 schedule.
The Mustangs host NAIA Simpson University Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. at Mott Athletics Center for an exhibition before officially kicking off the regular season Nov. 3 at home against UC Santa Cruz.
Cal Poly then begins a three-game road stretch, starting Nov. 9 against ACC foe Stanford. They then head to the northwest for a Nov. 15 game against Seattle University followed by a No. 17 contest against Eastern Washington.
The Mustangs return home for consecutive home games. They first host Southern Utah Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. followed by Chapman University Nov. 24. Cal Poly has its first two Big West games Dec. 4 and Dec. 6 before resuming non-conference play by hosting Idaho State Dec. 13 at 2 p.m.
Cal Poly then begins a stretch of three straight games against power-4 opponents that made the NCAA Tournament last year. The Mustangs will head south to face UCLA, a Final Four team a year ago, Dec. 16 before facing USC two days later Dec. 18. That stretch finishes up 10 days later with a trip up north to face Cal on Dec. 28 in the non-conference finale.
