Cal Poly is coming off a dominant showing in its Big West and home opener this past Saturday, rolling to a 6-1 victory over UC Davis. The Mustangs secured the doubles point for the third straight match to open their season and won five of six singles matches.

Fifth year Delanie Dunkle impressed in the dual, taking down the Aggies' Arianna Stavropoulos 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) at the No. 1 singles spot and in doubles she teamed up with her younger sister, junior Peyton Dunkle, for a commanding 6-1 win at No. 1. Peyton and sophomore Sarah MacCallum both went undefeated in singles and doubles during the dual as well. MacCallum's incredible 1-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3 singles victory at the No. 6 spot allowed her to secure her first career singles win. With a 28-11 record in dual singles matches in her career, Peyton is currently No. 2 all-time in Division I program history in winning percentage (71.8%).

Peyton and sophomores Kennedy Buntrock and Alexandra Ozerets are all a perfect 3-0 in singles this season.

The Dons' No. 1 doubles tandem of Hana Gamracy and Erin Richardson is 3-0 this season. The Mustangs fell 4-1 to San Francisco last year at the Mustang Tennis Complex.

Following their two matches in San Jose, Cal Poly continues its six-match road swing next weekend when they travel to Arizona on Feb. 17-18 for duals against Grand Canyon and No. 24 Arizona State.
