Connor Leary is in his first year as the Director of Athletic Communications with the Cal Poly Athletics Department and his seventh year overall with the Athletic Department. Leary works primarily with the football, indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, women's basketball, men's tennis, baseball, and women's golf programs.

Leary came to Cal Poly after working for two years as a content producer at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, writing and organizing daily newscasts for the Central Coast.

A 2014 graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism & Communications, Leary is also a Central Coast native. He grew up in nearby Cayucos and is a 2010 graduate of Morro Bay High School.
