High School -- A 2015 graduate of Modesto High School ... during his senior year under head coach Richie Alkire, recorded 18.5 sacks among his 60 total tackles (33 solo) ... also notched three quarterback hurries, three pass breakups, forced two fumbles and recovered another, returning it 40 yards ... as a receiver caught 36 passes for 646 yards and four touchdowns ... honors include first-team All-Modesto Metro Conference and second-team All-CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section honors as a defensive lineman ... also was a second-team all-league wide receiver and was named offensive and defensive player of the year on his team, which went 9-2 overall and finished second in the Modesto Metro Conference ... as a junior made 41 tackles (22 solo) and caught 31 passes for 505 yards and seven touchdowns, earning first-team all-league honors as a wide receiver and second-team all-league honors as a defensive lineman ... Panthers were 7-5 in 2013 ... also lettered in basketball, helping his team win a league title; tennis, playing on the No. 1 doubles team; and track and field, posting best marks of 6-0 in the high jump and 44-0 in the shot put ... member of PHAST (Protectig Health and Slamming Tobacco) Club ... chose to attend Cal Poly because of the "opportunity to play football, love the area, good academics and legacy of football program."
