SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Redshirt junior linebacker Kenny Olson has been having the best season of his collegiate career so far in 2025.
Through seven games, Olson ranks second in the Big Sky in and 10th in the entire FCS in tackles with 70. He’s been one of the key leaders of a Mustang defense that in their last game, held No. 4 Montana scoreless in the first half for the first time since 2019.
Olson comes from a great football background. His father Greg has been a longtime coach in the NFL and is currently the quarterbacks coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. The Pleasanton, Calif. native played high school football at Foothill High School where his defensive coordinator was former Mustang standout linebacker Johnny Millard.
