2017 -- Played in 10 of Cal Poly's 11 games as a junior, missing the season opener against Colgate ... earned nine tackles, including five solo stops ... made two tackles against both Weber State and Northern Colorado ... notched one tackle and recovered a fumble in 2018 Spring Game.

2016 -- Played in six games as a backup defensive lineman ... did not record any tackles ... no tackles in 2017 Spring Game.

2015 -- Played in one game as a redshirt freshman and recorded his first collegiate tackle against Southern Utah ... expected to back up Marcus Paige-Allen and Augustino Elisaia at nose tackle this fall ... made one tackle in 2016 Spring Game.

2014 -- Redshirt ... played in 2015 Spring Game and earned a pair of tackles.

High School -- Savusa earned first-team All-Western League honors as a senior under head coach Rick Jackson at Madison High School in San Diego ... recorded 70 tackles (37 solo), including eight tackles for lost yardage and three sacks ... also recovered a fumble and intercepted two passes, returning one 20 yards for a touchdown against La Jolla ... named most valuable lineman on his team and earned second-team All-CIF-San Diego Section honors ... Warhawks finished 9-2 overall and reached the quarterfinal round of the CIF-San Diego Section Division II playoffs ... in 2012, Madison captured the state Division III title with a 14-1 record and Savusa garnered 60 tackles (41 solo), including three for lost yardage, along with three quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery ... also competed in track and field in the shot put and discus events ... made the Honor Roll ... recruited by UC Davis and Idaho, Savusa chose Cal Poly because “I believe it has an excellent education program and I also believe in what Coach Walsh has planned for the football team.
