2023-- Played in 10 games with 10 total tackles, seven solo and three assisted... had a tackle for four loss yards... season high tackles against UC Davis on Sep. 30... recieved All-Academic honors...
2022 -- Played in all 11 games with four starts as a redshirt sophomore ... starts were in final four games of season against UC Davis, Montana, Montana State and Portland State ... earned 24 tackles (15 solo), including 4.0 stops for lost yardage ... season-high five tackles against both Eastern Washington and Montana ... also credited with three quarterback hurries, two of them versus Northern Arizona.
2021 -- Member of squad but did not play in any games as a redshirt freshman.
2020 (Spring 2021) -- Played in all three games as a backup on the defensive line ... notched a pair of assisted tackles -- one each in the Southern Utah and UC Davis games.
High School -- Recruited as a defensive lineman, Greer also was a tight end and linebacker under head coach Kyle Williams at Westview High in San Diego with 21 sacks and 254 tackles during his varsity career ... made 116 tackles (72 solo) as a senior with 12 sacks, and eight forced fumbles earning first-team All-Palomar League honors during his senior season ... also played in both the Makasi Bowl and Spanos All-Star Game as a senior ... Greer’s academic honors include receiving the National Football Foundation Scholar Leader Athlete Award and Westview High School Athlete of the Year for 2019-20 ... was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... Greer also visited San Diego and Brown and received offers from Air Force, Montana State, and UC Davis before choosing Cal Poly because "it is a school that will help me reach my full potential in the classroom and on the field. The prestige of the engineering program and the culture of the school and football program weighed my decision. I am very excited and proud of my decision!"
Personal -- Son of Neil and Lisa Greer, both University of San Diego graduates ... one brother, Joshua, and two sisters, Megan and Amanda ... hobbies include fishing, surfing, skiing, lacrosse and playing basketball with friends ... wants to own his own biomedical engineering company that focuses on creating medicine to help those with disabilities because his younger brother Joshua has a condition known as Prader-Willi Syndrome which affects the chemical balance of the brain and his learning abilities ... Greer wants to research this subject and develop treatments and cures for other disabilities ... worked at Meathead Movers during the summer ... majoring in biomedical engineering.
