A likely starter at right tackle on the offensive line at Cal Poly this fall if he fully recovers from leg injury.

2012 -- Started six of Cal Poly’s first seven games at right tackle as a junior before fracturing leg in Portland State contest ... part of an offensive line which helped Cal Poly’s offense finish first in the Football Championship Subdivision in passing efficiency, third in rushing offense, seventh in scoring offense, eighth in fewest sacks allowed (10 in 12 games) and No. 13 in total offense ... did not play in 2013 Spring Game as he continued his recovery from the leg injury.

2011 -- Played in eight games with one start against South Dakota as a sophomore on the offensive front ... part of a Mustang offensive line which helped the team finish No. 6 in the nation in rushing offense, No. 27 in scoring offense and No. 4 in total offense ... the offensive front allowed just 20 sacks in 11 games.

2010 -- Played in six games as a redshirt freshman reserve lineman on the offensive front, primarily at right guard.

2009 -- Redshirt.

High School -- Freeman earned the rare distinction of being named as the 2008 Bay League Offensive Player of the Year as a lineman ... also played on the defensive line under head coach Don Morrow at Mira Costa High School, helping the Mustangs to a 10-4 overall mark and first place in the Bay League at 5-0 ... notched 52 total tackles (24 solo) and was a member of the Mira Costa Football 1,000-Poound Club ... named to the All-Bay League first team as well as the All-CIF-Southern Section Western Division Team on offense ... played in Lions All-Star Game ... also played roller hockey and ice hockey in high school ... made the Honor Roll ... also visited UC Davis before choosing Cal Poly.
