After a two-year absence for a voluntary Mormon missionary in Paraguay, returned to Cal Poly in 2010 ... after two seasons at linebacker, backed up the defensive ends at Cal Poly in 2012 and is expected to fulfill the same role this fall.

2012 -- Played in all 12 games as a junior and recorded a pair of assisted tackles -- one each against San Diego and Idaho State ... also notched a pass breakup in Idaho State game ... made three tackles in 2013 Spring Game, including two for lost yardage.

2011 -- Squad member, but did not play in any games as a sophomore ... notched one tackle in 2012 Spring Game.

2010 -- Member of team but did not see any game action as a redshirt freshman.

2006-09 -- A redshirt in 2006 and was on the roster in 2007, but did not play in any games ... granted medical redshirt in 2007 ... sat out 2008 and 2009 seasons for missionary work.
High School -- A standout defensive end under Jon Mack at St. Bonaventure High in Ventura, helping Seraphs to perfect 14-0 record, 5-0 mark in the Channel League and CIF-Southern Section Division IV championship in 2005, their sixth in seven years ... recorded 89 tackles, including 11.5 sacks, as a senior along with two interceptions, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown), two pass breakups, a blocked extra point and two blocked punts … a three-year varsity starter, earned All-Channel League honors three times, all-CIF-Southern Section honors twice and all-state honors as a senior … also twice named All-Ventura County … Seraphs also won CIF titles in 2002 and 2004 and were runners-up in 2003 ... named lineman of the year in the Channel League in 2005 … maintained 3.5 GPA and earned a spot on the All-Ventura County Academic Team.
