2022 -- Started all 11 games as the Mustangs' snapper ... returns for final year, taking advantage of NCAA rule granting players from 2020-21 season an extra year of eligibility ... part of an offensive line that helped team finish No. 5 in the nation in passing offense and No. 37 in total offense.
2021 -- Member of team but did not play in any games at right tackle as a redshirt junior due to injury.
2020 (Spring 2021) -- Started the first two games of pandemic-shortened spring season against Southern Utah and UC Davis on Cal Poly's offensive line.
2019 -- Redshirt ... played in three of the final four games at right guard and preserved his redshirt year ... part of the offensive front that helped Cal Poly finish No. 7 in the FCS in time of possession, No. 9 in rushing offense and No. 5 in fourth-down conversions.
Community College -- Weichman played two seasons as a center and guard on the offensive line at Orange Coast College ... has two years of eligibility and a redshirt year remaining ... earned all-conference honors as a sophomore and was named the Pirates' Offensive Lineman of the Year ... compiled a 3.84 grade-point average at Orange Coast and is a two-year member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society ... made official visits to Gannon (Penn.), Texas-Permian Basin, Morehead State (Kentucky), Azusa Pacific and the University of San Diego ... chose to continue his academic and athletic careers at Cal Poly because "it has an amazing academic reputation and I believe that will help me greatly in my future career. Edison claimed the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 championship during Weichman's senior season (2016), posting a 13-2 record ... Edison won back-to-back Sunset League titles in 2015 and 2016 ... Weichman earned all-league honors as a senior, was named to the All-Orange County second team by the Daily Pilot and was selected to play in the 2017 Orange County North-South All-Star Game ... also wrestled at Edison ... was a league finalist at heavyweight in 2017 and earned a spot in the 2017 Orange County All-Star Classic ... an academic scholar at Edison in 2015 and 2016 and also earned honors in Spanish in 2016.
