2024 -- Earned Honorable Mention All-Big Sky honors ... played in all 11 games, recording 26 tackles (19 solo), 9.5 tackles for loss (second on team), and 3 sacks (teid for second on the team)… season-high 5 tackles against Western Oregon... added one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and one blocked kick

2023-- Missed the 2023 season due to injury

2022 -- Played in seven games with six starts at nose tackle ... started first six games and also played in UC Davis contest ... missed four of final five games of season due to injury ... earned 20 total tackles (10 solo), including 3.0 for lost yardage ... notched two sacks -- one each against Fresno State and South Dakota ... also earned a pair of quarterback hurries versus San Diego and Northern Arizona.

2021 -- Member of squad but did not play in any games during redshirt year ... will back up the defensive linemen this fall.

2020 (Spring 2021) -- Grayshirt.

High School -- A teammate of Elijah Ponder at Bishop Amat High School, Rodriguez recorded 41 tackles in both his junior and senior seasons under head coach Steve Hagerty ... was named defensive MVP of the Mission League and earned first-team All-CIF-Southern Section Division 1 honors after notching 12 tackles for lost yardage, including four sacks, and one safety. Rodriguez also was named San Gabriel Valley All-Area Defensive Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Los Angeles County first team ... his 41 tackles as a junior included 24 solo stops, 6.5 sacks, nine tackles for lost yardage, one interception and one pass breakup, earning first-team All-Mission League honors ... Rodriguez also played basketball and volleyball at Bishop Amat ... was recruited by Hawai'i and San Jose State, choosing to further his academic and athletic career at Cal Poly because "on my visit, I got a home type of feeling that just felt right. Coaches, players and surrounding people were all amazing. Great football program and top-tier education."
