Nick Hill, a rover for two seasons at Linfield College inMcMinnville, Oregon, is in his second season as defensive qualitycontrol coach at Cal Poly.
Hill made 12 tackles in nine games as a junior and and 23tackles, 2.5 for lost yardage, and one quarterback hurry in hissenior season at Linfield.
Hill has served as outside linebackers coach for the last twoyears at Santa Rosa Junior College. He is a former Bear Cublinebacker (2003 and 2004) and spent a year at Hawai’i beforetransferring to Linfield for his final two playing seasons.
Hill is a graduate of Rancho Cotate High School and was atwo-time North Bay League linebacker, He was named North Bay Leagueand Redwood Empire defensive player of the year as a senior (2002)after recording 154 tackles.
