
Cal Poly Men’s Tennis Hosts No. 45 UC Irvine Sunday in Penultimate Home Match

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly men’s tennis returns to San Luis Obispo this weekend to play the first of its final two home matches of the season.
The Mustangs (7-10, 1-1 Big West) get back into Big West play, hosting No. 45 UC Irvine on Sunday at 11 a.m. at Ronca Tennis Center.

Admission to all Cal Poly tennis matches is free, but this year the addition of the brand new state-of-the-art Comerford Pavilion is offering fans a unique viewing experience. This season on weekends and night matches (Saturdays and Sundays), fans can purchase access to the Silva Ball Rally Alley which offers reserved seating on the second floor of the Pavilion, along with snacks and beverages. Single-match access is available to purchase for $40, while a season pass for either the men’s or women’s team is $250. Full access to both this season can be purchased for $500 HERE. Access to the Comerford Viewing Deck, located on the south side of the facility and above court 2, is free to fans at all times, and during weekday matches (Monday through Friday with some exceptions) the second floor seating at the Comerford Pavillion is also open to all fans.
Cal Poly comes into Sunday’s match having won two of its last three matches, with victories over Hawai’i and Seattle. Freshman Jack Cross and senior Bastiaan Weststrate are each on two match singles win streaks.
The Mustangs will host UC Riverside Tuesday at 12 p.m. for the final home match of the season.
