SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly football will finish the 2025 season at home Saturday at 2 p.m. against Eastern Washington at Mustang Memorial Field presented by French Hospital at Spanos Stadium for the final game of 2025.
Cal Poly will be looking to break a six-game losing skid with a win this weekend against the Eagles. However, the Mustangs’ schedule this season ranks as the 16th hardest in all of FCS, including six games against ranked teams.
Defensively, the Mustangs still boast the top two tacklers in the Big Sky. Linebacker Mikey D’Amato is first with 131 which currently ranks fourth most in a season in program history, which is also second most in the FCS. Fellow linebacker Kenny Olson is second with 107 tackles, which is tied for 13th in the FCS.
For Saturday’s game, the first 2,000 fans kids will receive a free thunder stick upon entry to the game. Also new this year for students is the chance to win one quarter of in-state tuition. Each of the first 2,500 students to arrive will receive two raffle tickets to enter to win. The winner will be announced after the third quarter ends.
Cal Poly is once again doing ‘City Days’ this year at football games. Each game, fans from different select cities around the Central Coast can purchase a ticket for $5. For this Saturday’s game against the Bobcats, it is Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Oceano, Atascadero, Paso Robles, and Santa Margarita Day. Fans from there can purchase $5 tickets HERE.
