SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Senior wide receiver Logan Booher has been on a tear the last three games for the Mustangs. During that span, he has combined for 13 catches, 178 yards, and three touchdowns.
It’s something he has been doing for four years now at Cal Poly. The Long Beach native has played in at least eight games in each of his first three seasons on campus. As a freshman in 2022, he played in all 11 games and had 22 catches for 237 yards and two touchdowns.
In eight games as a sophomore, he tallied 20 receptions for 219 yards and three touchdowns. Last year as a junior, he had his most catches and yards in a season, finishing with 35 receptions for 347 yards and two touchdowns.
A construction management major, Booher has been one of Cal Poly’s most reliable targets for quarterbacks when he’s been on the field. He had the best game of his career three weeks ago against No. 7 UC Davis, recording 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
He and the rest of the Mustangs get ready to play their penultimate home game of the season this Saturday against Portland State. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Mustang Memorial Field.
