16 Mustang Football Players Earn Big Sky All-Academic Honors

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — 16 members of the 2023 Cal Poly football team received Big Sky Conference Fall All-Academic honors Wednesday.
The Mustangs' offensive line led the way with four honorees — Austin Anderson, Hunter Jones, Charles Lincoln and Garrett Weichman.
To be eligible for the Big Sky Conference Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: participated in at least half of the team's competitions, achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term and completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.
Three members of the Cal Poly receiving corps earned a spot on the All-Academic Team for their dedication and commitment in the classroom and on the field — Logan Booher, Dominique Thompson and Giancarlo Woods.
Running backs Mark Biggins and Troy Fletcher, linebackers Ethan Calvert and Kenny Olson, cornerbacks Kai Rapolla and Boston Wilson, defensive lineman Ian Don, safety Brian Dukes Jr. and defensive end Robbie Greer garnered recognition as well.
Anderson, Jones, Lincoln and Woods have all received Big Sky All-Academic honors previously.
In total, 656 student-athletes across the Big Sky Conference were honored along with 101 who earned 4.0 GPA's.
