SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Kickoff times for Cal Poly's five home games during the 2022 football season have been set.
The Mustangs' home opener against the University of San Diego on Sept. 10 will begin at 2:05 p.m. inside Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
The other four home contests, all Big Sky Conference affairs, will kick off at 5:05 p.m.
Cal Poly hosts defending Big Sky champion Sacramento State on Oct. 1, Eastern Washington on Oct. 22, Montana State on Nov. 12 and Portland State on Nov. 19.
Montana State finished second and Eastern Washington third in the Big Sky a year ago, both joining Sacramento State in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. Montana State advanced to the championship final, falling to North Dakota State 38-10.
The Sacramento State game will be Cal Poly's Homecoming contest while Parent and Family weekend is set for the Eastern Washington game.
Cal Poly will honor the 1972 Camellia Bowl team in the home opener versus San Diego while Heroes Day is set for the Montana State game during the Veterans Day weekend. The season finale against Portland State will be the Hall of Fame Game.
