No. 67 Mustangs Host Utah St. Saturday at Mustang Tennis Complex

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal Poly men's tennis continues its homestand, facing Utah State Saturday, March 12 at noon.
After getting off to an 8-3 start this season, the Mustangs have been ranked No. 67 by the ITA in the latest weekly poll. It is the first time they have been ranked this season.
The Mustangs are coming off a 4-0 shutout of BYU last week. Cal Poly is 6-1 at home so far this year.
Cal Poly is 3-0 all-time against the Aggies (5-6). The last time the two teams faced off was in 2019.
On a six-match winning streak, redshirt sophomore Joe Leather is currently 7-1 at the No. 2 singles spot. At the No. 1 spot, sophomore Noah Berry is 8-2.
All doubles duos have winning records. No. 3 pairing of Berry and redshirt sophomore Fernando Fonseca are on a three-match winning streak (5-2). At the No. 1 spot, Hendrik Inno and Leather are 6-3. While the No. 2 duo of redshirt sophomore Colter Smith and freshman Bastiaan Weststrate are 5-3.
Cal Poly is back on the road Sunday, March 20 at 5 p.m. against Cal.
