Cal Poly Back on the Road This Week at UC San Diego, SDSU

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – After having its first home match of the season last week, the Cal Poly women's tennis team is on the road again for back-to-back matches this week. The Mustangs are at UC San Diego Friday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. and San Diego State Saturday, Feb. 12 at noon.Peyton Dunkle is 5-2 overall. The Mustangs number one doubles pairing, Emily Ackerman and Kim Bhunu (4-2) are currently on a three-match winning streak. Similarly, Delanie Dunkle and Melissa LaMette (3-1) are hoping to continue their two-match winning streak.
In 2021, the last time the Mustangs faced the Tritons, the Mustangs won 4-1.
The Mustangs will face the Aztecs (3-1) for the first time in a little under two years.
The team will return home the following weekend on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. against UC Davis.
In their home opener, the Mustangs defeated Sacramento State 4-0- advancing the Mustangs to 2-2 overall.
