Cal Poly Hosts Saint Mary’s Saturday at Mustang Tennis Complex

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly men's tennis team continues its season-opening homestand this week. The Mustangs (1-1) are set to host Saint Mary's Saturday at noon at Mustang Tennis Complex Last week Cal Poly opened its season with a 6-1 win over San Francisco Friday. The Mustangs then suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Sacramento State Sunday. The team's number one singles player, Noah Berry and the number five singles player, Hendrik Inno are both currently 2-0 so far this season. Last season, Cal Poly took down the Gaels (0-2) 4-2 up in Moraga. The Mustangs have won the last four meetings against Saint Mary's. The last win for Saint Mary's over Cal Poly happened back in 2014. Following Saturday's match, the Mustangs will remain at home for a Feb. 5 noon contest against Pacific.
