
Cal Poly To Face No. 4 UCLA Friday in Los Angeles

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Coming off a win over Gonzaga last week, the Cal Poly women's tennis team will travel to Los Angeles for a tough test against No. 4 UCLA Friday at 1 p.m.

This past weekend Melissa LaMette defeated Kianna Oda of Gonzaga 6-1, 5-7, 6-1 in singles which clinched the match win for Cal Poly.
Additionally, Peyton Dunkle continues her singles winning streak improving to 4-0 overall.
Depending on the outcome of both of Fridays' matches the Mustangs will either play Washington or Denver. If Cal Poly wins, they will play the winner of Washington vs. Denver, but if Cal Poly loses, they will play the loser. The championship is set for 1 p.m. Saturday and the consolation match will be at 10 a.m.
Following this weekend, the Mustangs will host Sacramento State Feb. 5 at 1:30 p.m.
