
Cal Poly Women's Tennis Falls to USF, 6-1

SAN FRANCISCO – The Cal Poly women's tennis team put up a fight against University of San Francisco Saturday, but fell short 6-1.
Starting with doubles play, Susanne Boyden and Abby Bacharach took on Hanna Borjeson and Joselyn Treyes Albarracin on court two but fell 6-4.
Celine Gruaz and Claire Bouquet fell to Anna Sokiran and Amber del Rosario 6-3 on court three, giving USF the doubles point.
Boyden put the Mustangs' first point on the board after she beat Emily Maxfield on court two 6-0, 6-1, advancing her singles record to 3-0 on the season.
Bacharach fell to Treyes Albarracin on court four 6-1, 6-3. Seriana Saltzen put up a fight against Genevieve McCloskey but fell 7-6 (4), 6-2 on court three, while Celine Gruaz fell to Borjeson on court five 6-4, 6-4.
Louise Oxnevad pushed Sokiran in both sets but came up short, 7-6, 7-5.
The Mustangs will be back on the court on Sunday to take on Pacific at 11 a.m.
