Returned to lineup after sustaining an early-season injury to appear in nine of the final 11 games … scored season high 10 points at UC Davis (Feb. 27) and added nine on three three-pointers in NCAA Tournament First Four victory against Texas Southern (March 19) … averaged 7.6 minutes per game.
2012-13 (Freshman)
Appeared in all 32 games, started 10 times and established a single season Cal Poly program record with a 90.0 (54-for-60) percent free throw mark … finished fifth among Mustangs with 5.9 points per game and posted a 2.43-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio … scored career high 26 points and sank seven three-pointers at UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 19) … added 16 points versus Long Beach State (Jan. 3), Hawai’i (Jan. 24) and UC Riverside (March 7), when he knocked down all four three-point attempts … totaled 12 points versus UC Davis (Feb. 9) and 10 at Hawai’i (March 2) … grabbed career high eight rebounds at UC Riverside (Dec. 29) and versus UC Davis (Feb. 9).

Son of Tom and Jackie Morgan … father played basketball at Cal State Fullerton (1978-80) and was a 10th-round draft pick of the Dallas Mavericks in 1980 … has one brother, Shane … grandfather, Tom Morgan, was a righthanded pitcher for the New York Yankees (1951-52, 1954-56), Kansas City Athletics (1957), Detroit Tigers (1958-60), Washington Senators (1960) and Los Angeles Angels (1961-63) and served as the pitching coach for the California Angeles (1972-74, 1981-83), San Diego Padres (1975) and Yankees (1979) … majoring in kinesiology … career ambition is to own his own physical therapy clinic … Reese Edward Morgan was born on July 16, 1992 in San Pedro, Calif.
