2023 -- Indoor: Competed indoors for the first time, recording a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles (9.32) at the UW Invite. Outdoor: Placed seventh in the decathlon at the Big West Multi-Event Championships for the second consecutive year, recording personal bests in the 100 (11.72) and long jump (19 feet, 11 inches) ... took second in the shot put in the decathlon ... also captured 10th in the javelin (182-1) at the Big West Championships ... posted PRs in the high jump (5-7.75), javelin (188-5), shot put (43-5), discus (125-0) and 110 hurdles (16.83) during the season ... placed first in the javelin at the Bulldog Classic ... received All-Big West Academic honors.
2022 -- Recorded a personal-best point total (6,020) in the decathlon at the Big West Multi-Event Championships to place seventh and score team points for the Mustangs … established PRs in the 100-meter (11.74 seconds), 400 (55.98), 1,500 (5:19.25), discus (118 feet, 8 inches) and javelin (185-5) at the meet … set collegiate bests in the 110 hurdles (17.60) and shot put (40-5) … earned second in the decathlon discus and javelin … also placed ninth in the javelin at conference championships … recorded a personal best in the long jump (19-10.75) at UCSB Invitational … established a collegiate best in the pole vault (14-7.5) at the Pacific Coast Invitational … received Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2021 -- Competed in six meets, establishing personal bests in five events at Adams-Klein Combined Events in 100 (12.30), 400 (59.21), 110 hurdles (18.72), high jump (5-7 1/4) and pole vault (13-11 1/4) ... finished third in javelin at Wildflower Invitational (158-7) and fifth in javelin at Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet with personal-best mark of 159-10 ... also was fifth in shot put at Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge with another personal best (39-8 1/2).
2020 -- Spring sports schedule was canceled due to COVID-19; however, retains an extra season of NCAA eligibility moving forward into next year.
Prep -- While with James Logan High School in Union City, compiled a top decathlon score of 5,850 points to tally 10th place at the 2019 USATF Hershey National Junior Olympics ... also tallied a score of 5,768 to earn second at the Region 16 Junior Multis ... in the javelin, landed a mark of 164 feet & 2.75 inches, good for second at the 2019 Juniors; also had the top throw at 2019 regionals while ranking No. 1 in California ... also trained with the Mission Valley Track Club ... additional PRs for the Colts included 44’ 6” for the shot put and 14’ 9” in the pole vault (winning the 2019 North Coast Section Bayshore championship) ... additionally, graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a six-time NCS Scholar-Athlete recipient, while serving as a math, science and foreign language mentor.
Personal -- Majoring in marine science ... unofficially also visited UCSB and Miami; chose Cal Poly in part because of the marine bio program, great location and Division I sports ... aspires to become a marine science researcher.
