
Cal Poly STUNT Wins Multiple National Awards

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly STUNT received several big national honors Sunday by the College STUNT Coaches Association. Seven Mustang student-athletes were named All-Americans, head coach Annette Laron-Pickett was named Division I Coach of the Year, and senior Mikayla Maire was named was named the Division I Jumps and Tumbling Specialist of the Year.
Sophomore Kenzie Cassara, graduate Lauren Garboski, junior Grace Marangi, and senior Emma Osterink were each named First Team All-Americans. Sophomore Lydia Hagen, sophomore Livy Meyer, and junior Madison Yazalina were each named Second Team All-Americans.
Cal Poly had an outstanding first season as a Division I program. The Mustangs went 13-7, reached the semifinals of the Division I National Championship, and held a top three national ranking all season.
