Cal Poly STUNT Finishes First Home Event with Pair of Wins

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly STUNT had a strong finish to its first ever home event as a Division I team Saturday, closing out the Cal Poly STUNT Stampede with a pair of victories.
The No. 3 Mustangs started the day by beating Arizona State in a close battle 29-21. They then closed out the day with a dominant 31-7 win over UC Davis. They finished the STUNT Stampede with a record of 3-1.
It was a historic weekend for the program and Cal Poly as these were the program’s first ever home games as a Division I team. Mott Athletics Center was packed with fans all weekend to see the program compete in person.
With the wins, Cal Poly finishes the regular season with an 11-5 overall record. The team now prepares to compete at the National Championships in Nashville, TN April
