Cal Poly Falls on the Road Thursday at Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. – Freshman Jack McGary and senior Bastiaan Weststrate each picked up singles wins, but the Cal Poly men's tennis team fell on the road Tuesday at Pacific, 4-2.
The Tigers took the doubles point over the Mustangs after wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots.
In singles, McGary won his match at the No. 5 spot, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 to notch his second straight win and improve his record this season to 7-6. Weststrate earned his eighth singles victory of the year after winning his match at the No. 2 spot, 7-6, 3-6, 6-4.
Pacific however, took the points after wins at the No. 1, No. 3, and No. 6 spots to clinch the match.
Cal Poly (8-12, 2-2 Big West) returns to Big West play Saturday when they stay on the road to face UC Davis at 10 a.m.
