No. 6 Mustangs Split Final Two Matches of Battle for LA

LOS ANGELES — The sixth ranked Cal Poly beach volleyball team closed out its opening weekend of the season Saturday by splitting a pair of matches at the Battle for LA in Los Angeles. The No. 6 Mustangs swept Concordia University Irvine 5-0 before falling to No. 2 LMU 4-1.
Cal Poly will head to Tempe, Ariz. next weekend for the Sun Devil Classic hosted by Arizona State March 7-8. There, the No. 6 Mustangs will face Arizona, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Coastal Carolina, and No. 11 Arizona State.
