SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — After opening Big Sky Conference play this past weekend with a road win over Northern Colorado, Cal Poly football returns home this Saturday, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. to host Idaho State for its Homecoming game at Mustang Memorial Field presented by French Hospital at Spanos Stadium
It’ll be the second home game of the season and first chance for fans to see the Mustangs (2-2, 1-0 Big Sky) play a conference opponent this season. Cal Poly has won its last two games and is seeking its first 2-0 start to Big Sky play since 2013
Saturday’s game promotions are Homecoming and San Luis Obispo Day. The team will be wearing new throwback logo helmets and to honor that, the first 800 arriving fans will receive a throwback logo pin. After that, fans can purchase those pins for $5. Any San Luis Obispo residents can receive discounts on tickets to the game. For more info on that and how to purchase those, email Director of Marketing Jarius Fields at jfields@calpoly.edu.
