
Cal Poly Women’s Golf Heads to Sacramento Monday for Causeway Invitational

Their last match took place at Seattle University on Feb. 3rd at the Rainier Golf and Country Club as a last minute schedule adjustment due to The Beach Invitational cancellation as a result of weather complications.
The Mustangs last tournament of the fall season took place in San Marcos, TX where the team competed in the Jim West Challenge.
While the team took 10th place overall, Cal Poly graduate student Kaylee Sakoda led the Mustangs, tying for 24th place overall with four other players.
Sakoda ended her 2022-23 season in Quinnipiac with two first-place finishes and has high expectations for the spring season, according to coach Roberts.
Jensen Jalufka is entering her senior season with a 75.12 career scoring average over 69 rounds with 12 top-20 finishes and 16 rounds of par or better. She scored a season best of 68 at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic.
Senior Nicole Neale is ready to compete after coming off her season of 74.79 career scoring average over 67 rounds with 12 top-20 finishes and 19 rounds of par or better. Her season best was a 67 at the Dale McNamara Invitational.
Following the Causeway Invitational, the Mustangs will next compete at the Tulane Classic in New Orleans.
