SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Playing in his final season of college football, redshirt senior linebacker Judaea Moon has been making his last season his best.
Moon already has set career-highs this season for tackles with 40 which ranks second on the team and has started all eight games so far this season. In the Mustangs’ season opener against San Diego, Moon set a career-high for tackles in a game as he led the team that day with 11.
Moon has been part of a front seven this season that has ranked 38th in the FCS in tackles for loss and 30th in rushing defense.
Moon has been at Cal Poly since the 2019 season. He redshirted that season, got the next season of eligibility back due to the COVID pandemic, and has been playing in each of the last four seasons, starting most games the past two years.
Moon has three games left this season and in his collegiate career to keep adding to his season totals. He and the Mustangs will look to take down Northern Arizona Saturday at 5 p.m. Tickets to the game are still available and can be bought at the link below.
