
Five Things to Know: Sacramento State

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly football’s final home game of the season is happening Saturday as the Mustangs host Sacramento State. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. with the game being streamed on ESPN+, ESPN Radio 1280AM/101.7FM and GoPoly.com.
Gates open at 12:30 p.m. with tailgating starting at 8 a.m. followed by the Stampede BBQ opening at 11:30 a.m. and the traditional Stampede March where the team walks down to the stadium happening at 12 p.m.
Saturday is also senior day. Before the game at 1:45 p.m., Cal Poly Athletics will honor 18 senior players and 13 student managers in a ceremony make sure to be in your seat early as we honor all 31 for their years of hard work and dedication to the Mustang football program.
Get ready for gameday with five things you need to know for Saturday’s game:
Senior Day
Saturday’s game is the final home game for 18 Mustang players. In addition, Cal Poly will also recognize former offensive lineman Keith Marco, who passed away suddenly during this past offseason and who would have been graduating this year. Current players being honored are:

New Concessions Area
New this season for fans is the Cal Poly Partners Plaza. This newly renovated side of the north end zone is a 14,200 square foot, tiered pavilion that offers fans a great atmosphere to watch the game from.
There are multiple food and beverage kiosks, a new entrance gate, and a lawn area that is a great place for kids to play with games provided.
Mobile Ticketing
This year, Cal Poly ticketing is going mobile. Be sure to download your mobile ticket to your wallet before you arrive at the stadium. This eliminates the variable of not having strong Wi-Fi around the stadium and not being able to download it. Mobile tickets were sent to your email at the time of purchase. Pregame Festivities

Other Saturday Home Games
There are multiple Cal Poly home sporting events taking place Saturday. Before the football game, Cal Poly wrestling is hosting Stanford at 11:30 a.m. in a special outdoor dual taking place right next to the football stadium on O’Neill Green.
After the football game, volleyball is playing host to UC Irvine at 6 p.m. and anyone who shows a purchased ticket to the football game can get into volleyball at Mott Athletics Center for free.
