SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Highlighted by 10 home matches, Cal Poly men's tennis released its 2024 spring schedule Monday. The 21-match schedule features 15 non-conference matches and six conference matches. It also sees the Mustangs playing seven of their final 10 matches at home. They will then play two matches back home at Mustang Tennis Complex, starting with LMU Feb. 3 for the home opener followed by San Diego State on Feb. 4. From there, Cal Poly will play six of its next seven matches on the road that will see them face teams that ended last season nationally ranked in Boise State, Oregon, and San Diego. They will then begin Big West play starting March 30 against Hawai'i in Honolulu. That will be followed by matches against UC Riverside and UC Irvine on the road before returning home to play their final three matches of the regular season at home. They will host UC San Diego and UC Davis April 13 and 14 before wrapping up the regular season against rival UC Santa Barbara, who won the Big West last year and finished the season ranked No. 41 in the country, April 20. The Big West Championships will take place April 26-28 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego. The Mustangs will return all five of their 2023 Big West All-Conference honorees back this season. That group is led by senior Noah Berry, a three-time First Team All-Big West selection. He heads into his final season with a 34-17 career singles record which ranks tied for fourth best in school history.
