Stockham, Bullis Earn Big West Weekly Honors

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – After a pair of strong performances last week, redshirt sophomore outside hitter Tommi Stockham has been named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week and redshirt freshman setter Emme Bullis has been named Big West Freshman of the Week.
In Cal Poly's two matches last week, Stockham averaged 5.83 kills per set while hitting .265. In a three-set win over CSUN, she finished with 22 kills, seven digs, and three blocks. Her 22 kills are the most in a three-set match by a Big West player this season. In a three-set loss to UCSB, she had 13 kills and five digs. Stockham now leads the Big West in kills at 3.87 per set.
Bullis also put up big number last week, averaging 13.50 assists per set, 2.17 digs per set, and .50 blocks per set. Against CSUN, she finished with 44 assists, eight digs, and three blocks. Then against UCSB, she had 37 assists, five digs, and an ace. She is third in the Big West in assists at 9.91 per set.
Now at 10-4 in Big West play, Cal Poly goes on the road this week for a Thursday, Nov. 10 match at UC Davis and a Saturday, Nov. 12 match against UC Riverside.
