Cal Poly Completes Play at Saint Mary's Fall Invite

MORAGA, Calif. — A 3-1 showing by sophomore Eliza Bates and freshman Sasha Ozerets in doubles play highlighted action for the Cal Poly women's tennis team at the Saint Mary's Fall Invite. The Mustangs wrapped up play Sunday afternoon.
Bates and Ozerets went 1-1 during the first day of the tournament Friday, before going undefeated over the weekend, notching wins over doubles pairs from Sacramento State and Portland.
Cal Poly's other doubles team, made up of junior Shreya Ravilla and freshman Kennedy Buntrock, secured a victory Saturday and another Sunday to finish strong.
In singles play, Bates, Buntrock, Ozerets and Ravilla all picked up a win during the tournament.
Cal Poly travels to Ranchos Palos Verdes next weekend (Nov. 4-6) to participate in the Jack Kramer Club Invitational and wrap up its fall season.
