Cal Poly Wraps Up Play at ITA Northwest Regionals

STANFORD, Calif. — Cal Poly women's tennis wrapped up play at the ITA Northwest Regionals on Sunday.

Redshirt junior Delanie Dunkle and sophomore Peyton Dunkle saw their run in the doubles main draw come to an end in the Round of 16 as they fell to Washington's Sarah-Maude Fortin and Astrid Olsen, the eighth-seeded doubles team in the tournament, 8-2. The Dunkle sisters finished with a 2-1 record at the tournament.

In consolation singles matches, sophomore Misha Berry and freshman Sasha Ozerets both secured straight-set victories.

Berry and Ozerets also took the court in consolation doubles action Sunday. Junior Shreya Ravilla and Berry suffered an 8-1 defeat to a pairing from Saint Mary's, while redshirt junior Melissa LaMette and Ozerets fell 8-4 in their match.

The Mustangs return to action on Oct. 28-30 when they head to Moraga for the Saint Mary's College Invite.
