Cal Poly Track & Field Travels to FPU Wildflower Invitational Saturday

Now with a combined 76 qualifiers to the upcoming Big West Championships, Cal Poly Track & Field will look to improve its marks and earn even more trips to the conference meet this weekend.
The Mustangs continue the regular season at Fresno Pacific on Saturday, visiting the central valley for the Wildflower Invitational. In addition to the hosting Sunbirds, nearby Fresno State will also attend, and Westmont will also compete on April 10 at FPU Track from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

On the women's side of the Big West leaderboard, Molly Ross (with a 100m hurdles time of 13.66 seconds, as well as 1:00.31 for the 400m hurdles), Brooke Tjerrild (13' 6.25" for the pole vault) and Julianna Ruotolo (4,709 points in the heptathlon) each hold No. 1 rankings throughout the entire conference.
Chineme Allison (at 10.68 in the 100-meter dash), Justin Robison (13:46.80 for the 5,000 meters), Jake Ritter (29:01.61 in the 10,000m) and Christian Valles (pictured above, clearing 16' 9.25" in the pole vault for a No. 32 NCAA Prelims spot) also all are ranked atop the men's BWC leaderboards.
