Cal Poly Track & Field Hosts Quad Meet Saturday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly Track & Field, now with seven Mustangs ranked No. 1 in the Big West Conference for various events, looks to further sharpen its times and marks this weekend, as the program hosts UC Santa Barbara, Fresno State and Fresno Pacific for a quad-meet on Saturday.
Events will go from 11:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. altogether on April 3 at Miller & Capriotti Athletics Complex.
Due to current regulations and need for teams to have proper spacing in all areas, fans will not be allowed into any of the surrounding corridors to the track Saturday. Only credentialed and cleared working personnel will be permitted at the facility.
However, live results from the meet can be tracked through PhotoTiming. In addition, the meet can also be followed live through the program's Twitter and Instagram pages.

On the men's side atop the entire conference, Chineme Allison (via 10.73 seconds in the 100-meter dash), Bobby Poynter (at 1:51.71 for the 800 meters) and Justin Robison (3:48.65 in the 1,500m) hold No. 1 rankings throughout the Big West.
Topping the rankings on the women's Big West standings are Molly Ross (at 13.66 in the 100m hurdles and 1:00.84 for the 400m hurdles), Brooke Tjerrild (13' 6.25" for the pole vault) and Julianna Ruotolo (4,709 points in the heptathlon).
