
Mechanics Bank Cal Poly Student-Athlete of the Week: Riley Till

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- After leading the Cal Poly men's basketball program with a collegiate-high 17 points during a Nov. 27 season-opening win against Bethesda College, graduate forward Riley Till has been named Mechanics Bank Cal Poly Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 30.
Till, an offseason graduate transfer from Iowa, sank Cal Poly's first bucket of the 2020-21 season and finished 7-for-7 from floor and 3-for-4 from the free throw in the 17-point effort against Bethesda.
Alongside senior wing Mark Crowe, Till also topped all players with a career-high seven rebounds and blocked a collegiate-best three shots in 22 minutes.
Till's previous collegiate scoring high was a 10-point effort for Iowa during a Dec. 22, 2018 win against Savannah State.
Till was one of seven Mustangs to make their Cal Poly debut during the win against Bethesda.
As a program, Cal Poly (1-0) is scheduled to return to action at San Francisco on Friday, Dec. 4.
