
Cal Poly Men's Tennis Falls to Arizona State in ASU Invitational

TEMPE, Ariz. – Cal Poly men's tennis fell to Arizona State 4-1 in the second round of the ASU Invitational on Saturday.
The dual match began at 1:00 p.m. at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
Arizona State secured the doubles point in two sets.
Freshmen Andrew Whitehouse and Roman Shenkiyrk lost to No. 38 Benjamin Hannestad and Tim Ruehl 6-1.
Junior Josh Ortlip and senior Axel Damiens lost to Thomas Wright and Andrea Bolla 6-2.
Senior Karl Eander and junior Dominic Bechard didn't finish their match against No. 90 Makey Rakotomalala and Pierre Dodens.
In singles, Ortlip lost to Rakotomalala 6-3, 6-3.
Damiens lost to Hannestad 6-2, 6-3.
Enander lost to Dodens 6-0, 6-2.
Noel secured the Mustangs only point in the match defeating Wright 6-3, 6-3.
Bechard and Stater's matches didn't finish.
The Mustangs return to action Saturday, Feb. 17 against San Francisco at home. The dual match starts at 12:00 p.m. at Mustang Courts.
