Cal Poly's Friday Game Cancelled at Stanford's Louisville Slugger Classic

STANFORD – Due to rain in Northern California, the Cal Poly softball team's Friday 6 p.m. matchup versus No. 11 Florida state at the Stanford-hosted Louisville Slugger Classic has been cancelled. The game will not be rescheduled.
Cal Poly's remaining schedule at the tournament remains the same with the Mustangs facing Stanford (9 a.m.) and Tulsa (1 p.m.) on Saturday, March 12 and Florida State on Sunday, March 13 at 9 a.m.
Winners of nine of its previous 10 games, Cal Poly (15-4) is seeking its best 20-game start to a season since the 1995 Mustangs opened with a 15-5 mark.
