2016-17 -- As a junior posted 14-5 overall mark, including 4-1 record in dual meets ... two major decisions and a dozen decisions ... takedown with seven seconds remaining helped Cal Poly to a come-from-behind 21-18 victory over Northern Colorado ... with the late takedown, overcame 3-2 deficit for 4-3 win over No. 20-ranked Dylan Gabel ... his win over Gabel was part of a four-match Mustang win streak in a comeback from an 18-6 deficit for the dual victory ... placed first in Roadrunner Open with 4-0 record ... also claimed Menlo Open title with 4-0 mark ... won his final seven matches of the season.

2015-16 -- Earned wins in seven of 22 matches as a sophomore with one major decision ... placed fourth in Roadrunner Open with 2-2 mark.

2014-15 – Redshirt … split 12 matches in trio of open tournaments … posted 3-2 mark in California Collegiate Open and 2-1 record in Shorty Hitchcock Open.

2013-14 – Wrestled as a true freshman and posted 5-10 record, including a pair of wins in dual meets … all five wins were by decision … scored 5-3 sudden victory decision against Juan Maynes of Grand Canyon in Roadrunner Open … posted 3-2 mark at Roadrunner Open but did not place.

High School -- Movahedi compiled a 117-29 record in his final three years of wrestling at Granada Hills Charter High School ... placed third in the California state finals at 182 pounds, his school's first state place winner, as a senior and posted a 2-2 mark in the state finals as a junior at 160 pounds ... during his senior season, placed third at the Doc Buchanan, first at the Newbury Park Invitational, first at the Tournament of Champions, first at the Sam De John (at San Fernando High School) and fourth at the Zinkin Classic en route to a 55-5 record ... was second at the USAW Nationals in Iowa ... chose Cal Poly because of its "Division I wrestling program, great academics and close to home."
