2012-13: As a sophomore compiled 3-10 record, including 1-4 dual meet mark, primarily at 165 pounds ... three of his matches were at 174 and he won one of those, a 7-1 decision against AJ Simon of San Francisco State ... opened his season with a fall in 4:56 against Timmothy Abborino of Cal Baptist in the Roadunner Open.

2011-12: Won two of 13 matches as a redshirt freshman at 165 pounds … wrestled in seven dual meets … one of his wins was by fall in 4:15 over Jovan Duncan at the California Collegiate Open.

High School – A four-year wrestling letterman at Atascadero High School, where he was a two-time Pac 7 League champion and twice placed third in the CIF-Southern Section individual finals … led Greyhounds to pair of CIF-Southern Section team titles … also lettered in football and swimming … a defensive back for the Greyhounds, who were 9-3 overall and 4-2 in Pac 7 games in 2010 … earned 41 tackles and four pass deflections as a senior … played in 2011 FCA All-Star Game at Pioneer Valley High School in Santa Maria … made Senator’s List … and was involved in Leadership and a member of Future Farmers of America.
