2014-15 – Competed in three open tournaments as a redshirt freshman … posted a 6-6 record overall, including a 3-3 mark for sixth place in Bill Musick Open … also competed in San Francisco State Under-21 Open and Roadrunner Open … four of his six wins were by fall, including one in 1:52 against Andrew Tyson of Sierra College in Roadrunner Open.
2013-14 – Redshirt … competed in five open tournaments and won three of 13 matches, including a fall in 3 minutes, 33 seconds, against Edmund Kwan of UC Irvine in California Collegiate Open.
High School -- Teixeira earned a pair of second-place finishes in the Pac 7 League finals under head coach Johnny Martinez at St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria ... also placed third in the CIF-Southern Section Division I individual finals ... earned All-Pac 7 honors and four varsity letters in wrestling ... also lettered once in varsity football and cross country ... earned 55 total tackles, one interception and three pass breakups as a defensive back in senior season (2012).
