2018 -- Established a PR for the javelin at Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Team Challenge on March 31, taking third place with a throw of 164 feet, 6 inches ... went on to finish in 15th place at the Big West Championships as a true freshman, with a mark of 159’ 4” at CSUN May 12 ... also exceeded 150 feet on three additional occasions: 151’ 2” at the Cal Opener in Berkeley on March 3 (good for third); 151’ 0” at the Cal Poly #ShareSLO Invitational on March 24; and 152’ 4” at the UCLA Invitational in Drake Stadium April 14 (tallying fifth) ... also competed in the shot put at the home invite, reaching an eighth-place distance of 44’ 6.25”.
Prep -- At Vista Murrieta High School, had PRs of 53 feet-even in the shot put and 161’ 10” for the discus, winning both events at the Murrieta Valley and Mesa dual meets as a senior ... finished sixth at the 2016 Southern Section Division 1 Championships for the shot, and during 2017 had seven performances extending beyond 52’ 0.5” — including a 52’ 11” which took second place at the Inland Empire Championships ... also was 11th at the 2017 divisional discus prelims, after throwing for a mark of 158’ 9” that claimed second place at the Southwestern League Finals.
